Established in 1980, Nelson Bay Marlins AFL Club caters for all players 5 years of age and older, through to first grade.
Our most recent Senior Premiership was in 2022.
We cater for the shortest, the tallest, the slowest, the fastest, slim bodies, big bodies, new Australians and our first nations people. Come try AFL, everyone is welcome.

Our Club has a proud history of teaching young boys and girls to play football in a safe and fun environment. We encourage a spirit of sportsmanship, loyalty and support. The club also develops a culture of respect for the club, other players, the jumper, and the AFL umpires.

Whilst we may be a small club based in rugby heartland, our club has produced AFL stars including Troy Luff, Craig Bird and Lisa Steane.
Today we have several of our Juniors in the Sydney Swans Academy.
